The Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens was commissioned by Admiral Pierre-Paul de La Grandière in 1864, and was opened to the public in 1869, making it one of the world's oldest continuously operating zoos. The Saigon Zoo and Botanical Garden contains 590 animals of 125 species and 1,830 trees and plants of 260 species, some of which are over 100 years old. This includes 20 species of orchid, 32 species of cactus and 34 species of bonsai. The Saigon Zoo and Botanical Garden is divided into an animal conservation area, a plant conservation area, an orchid garden and an amusement park.

Tan Dinh Church was built during the French colonial period in the 1870s and completed on 16 December 1876, when Vietnam was part of French Indochina. The architecture is mainly neo-Romanesque, but it also has some neo-Gothic and neo-Renaissance elements. It has been painted pastel-pink both on the exterior and interior since 1957, earning it the nickname "the pink church".

It is the second-largest church in Ho Chi Minh City, after Notre-Dame Basilica (Duc Ba Church) in District 1.

The Saigon Waterbus is a transportation service in Saigon, operating on the Saigon River.  Launched in November 2017, the Waterbus offers services between District 1 and Thu Duc City.  In 2021, the Waterbus launched an evening service from 5:00-9:00 PM.

Jamia Al-Musulman Mosque was first built in 1935 and is considered as one of the major mosques in Sai Gon. In the past, the existence of this place was aimed at serving Muslims from South India living in the city. Southern Indian Islamic architecture is a prominent feature found here and attracts a lot of interest from tourists.

Today, Jamia Al-Musulman is a gathering place for all Muslims from Pakistan and Indonesia. Not only the Muslim faiths but also many tourists come here to listen to the propaganda and visit the beautiful scenery and architecture inside the Mass.
